Throughout my 15 years of experience in the industry I have found there is a desparate need to approach and service the client’s requirements differently - be more personable, approachable, create a greater connection and most importantly LISTEN!
By visiting the client at their place of business, regularly, I can get a better understanding of the big picture, be more convenient for the client PLUS have greater effect and maximise client benefits.I take the time to explain what the financials represent, and what they mean for the business both now and in the future. What adjustments are required to ‘Correct the Balance’. Crucial recognition of where improvement may be achieved, and where the weaknesses lie, both on a financial (accounts) and procedures level plus how that effects the overall business.
I will take the time to explain hidden elements within the figures and what they represent - taking a pro-active approach to the figures working creatively to maximise the results to secure future investment in the business.
l have seen many businesses fail because their accountant didn’t have the time or the knowledge to discuss the complete business needs before the 30 June year end.
It is extremely important that, where possible, business owners should spend a majority of their time ‘Working ON the business not in the business’ to maximise thier benefits, their productivity, sales, revenue, future growth and the business legacy.
